Can all steel loads be handled by magnets?
  • Certain steel loads like 20' and 40' feet containers, fully loaded cannot be handled safely with magnets
  • As these are mainly sheet metal, there is very little steel material compared to the full loads they bear, for the magnetic flux to be fully absorbed and saturated.
  • Very large and huge Electromagnets can probably lift empty containers but traditional or specialised mechanical or hydraulic clamping are required to handle fully loaded large containers
What about steel loads with insufficient contact areas?
